1. Overview
Protection on ORION comes in three layers: (a) optional travel insurance that actually covers hunting; (b) optional Cancel-For-Any-Reason protection; and (c) the built-in ORION Guarantee that holds your money until check-in. (a) and (b) are optional, paid by you, and provided by licensed insurance partners.
2. Travel insurance that covers hunting
Most standard travel policies exclude hunting as a high-risk sport. At checkout, ORION offers adventure-ready travel insurance underwritten by licensed partners that explicitly covers hunting — including emergency medical for the activity and your equipment. Coverage, limits and price are shown before you buy and are set by the insurer.
3. Cancellation protection (Cancel-For-Any-Reason)
Our standard Cancellation Policy is strict. If you want flexibility, add optional Cancel-For-Any-Reason protection at checkout: it lets you recover your booking value for reasons the standard policy does not cover, subject to the insurer's terms.
4. The ORION Guarantee
Built into every booking at no extra cost: your payment is held and released to the host/guide only at check-in. If the host cancels, you cannot check in, or what you booked is materially not as described, ORION will rebook you or refund you. For larger exposures we back this guarantee with refund-protection insurance from a licensed partner.
5. How it works

6. Disclosures
